Born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil,
Danielle was the only child of a Brazilian mother and a German-American Father. She lived in Rio untill she was 14.
She was fortunate enough to figure out her gender issues at young age. She started crossdressing when she was 16 and subsequently decided to undergo hormone replacement therapy with her mother's support.
In her early years, Danielle went by the drag queen named Holly Gramm and worked in a place called Diva's as a bartender and dancer. During that time, she won the Miss Gay San Francisco pageant and made several appearances on the Maury Povich and Ricki Lake television shows.
Danielle is a graduate of Motion Picture Special Effects Makeup School.
"I like sex so I might as well get paid for it” Danielle is quoted as saying. She described how Vicki Ritcher, her "porn mom" and mentor, got Danielle into the porn industry. Vicki introduced her to a number of well know producers. Danielle and Vicki have worked together many times in various photoshoots and videos.
By 2005, she was nominated for the "Transsexual Performer of the Year" AVN Award and nominated again in 2007 and in 2010. By the end of 2010, Danielle has appeared in at least two dozen films. Danielle even won the Queen USA pageant in August 2006.
