“Environmentally friendly high fashion is on our forefront”
That is one motto of designer Yotam Solomon’s self named label. Yotam Solomon has formed an Eco friendly luxury brand that is inspired by the earth. He not only designs to create beautiful footwear (clothing), his designs serve to raise awareness of issues that impact our environment and celebrate the beauty of nature. This is especially evident in his upcoming Spring/summer 2011 footwear collection.
The “BP Oil Spill” Collection
This collection, as beautiful as it is, serves as a reminder of the tragedy that occurred in Louisiana. A massive oil spill that not only destroyed the precious environment around it but, also affected the lives and livelihoods of many families. Proceeds from this collection will be donated to NRDC and other organizations.
